| 1944 2nd October, printed advertising envelope from Border Motor Company, Ndola, bearing KGVI 1/- and 3/- (SG 40, 42), although apparently one further stamp removed prior to censorship, cancelled 'NDOLA' and sent airmail the the USA. Opened at both left and right then resealed with printed or sellotape 'OPENED BY EXAMINER / 0/ 1' and 'EXAMINED BY 5139' tape. A most unusual and attractive high value franking. |
