Bearing a single Cape 1d carmine ‘Table Mountain’ (SG 69) tied by UITENHAGE / C.G.H. (13 Sep) squared circle datestamp. Triangular ‘PASSED PRESS CENSOR’ cachet struck on the front and London (5 Oct) arrival backstamp. The reverse with an array of advertisements for items including the ‘Soupette’ and ‘Lippette’ Moustache Guards; The ‘Unicus Tea Infuser’, The ‘Strainette’ Tea Strainer; The ‘Markette’ Bookmarker; ‘Fortis’ Stud and a ‘Combination Match Box, Tobacco Stopper, Cigar Fork and Prick’.
