1908 (26th July), KEVII ½d green postal stationery card addressed within Transvaal. The imprinted stamp is cancelled with a SPELONKEN (26 Jul) double circle datestamp. With a Pietersburg (27 Jul) arrival datestamp struck on the front. The message on the reverse is headed ‘Valdezia’.
Note: from 1875 Valdezia was the site of a Swiss mission station, established by the Mission Vaudoise (Mission Suisse dans Afrique du Sud).
