| 1907 (9th January), envelope addressed to Switzerland, bearing a four different KEVII issues, comprising ½d yellow-green, 1d scarlet, 1d ‘black’ and carmine and 2½d ‘black’ and blue (SG 245, 247, 273, 274) all tied by SPELONKEN (9 Jan) double circle datestamps. Pietersburg (10 Jan) transit and Bern (3 Nov) arrival backstamps. Some edge faults, central vertical fold and one 1d with fault, otherwise an attractive example of a double weight 2½d per half ounce rate to Europe. |
