Bearing a RSA 4c and 10c tied by a large bilingual LOUIS TRICHARDT / S.A.S. 762 S.A.R. / 1979-06-27 / PARCELS OFFICE boxed cachet struck in violet with a second strike alongside. The adhesives additionally cancelled with a Pietermaritzburg (30 Jun) ‘Save Fuel’ slogan datestamp. The reverse with a printed red on white bilingual ‘Rail Letter Post’ label tied by a further strike of the Louis Trichardt boxed cachet. Very fine. |
