1910 (15th July), Transvaal KEVII 1d carmine postal stationery card addressed to Switzerland. The imprinted stamp is cancelled with a SPELONKEN (15 Jul) double circle datestamp. With Pietersburg (16 Jul) transit and Chaux-De-Fonds (8 Sep) arrival datestamps struck alongside. Small fault above imprinted stamp, otherwise fine. The message on the reverse is headed ‘Valdezia’.
Note: from 1875 Valdezia was the site of a Swiss mission station, established by the Mission Vaudoise (Mission Suisse dans Afrique du Sud).
