| 1954 17th June, long QEII registered stationery envelope, bearing QEII 2/5 and 5/- (SG 71, 72), cancelled 'CHINGOLA', sent airmail to England. Apparently of some weight as secured with sellotape, struck with violet GB 'CUSTOMS AND EXCISE' hand stamp. Despite its appearance, still a most unusual high value franking. |
