| REVENUE 1960 (13th April), Tati Company cheque (205x120mm) printed in black and pale greenish blue featuring an elephant with ‘Tati Company Ltd’ above and ‘Tati Matabeleland’ below. Issued at Francistown on the 13th April 1960 for £42.14s.6d and paid in Durban, South Africa. As there is no printed stamp duty, this has been paid by affixing a QEII 2d red-brown (SG 145) tied by a triangular bank handstamp. The reverse with a printed receipt with a South African 1d postage meter stamp. Unobtrusive vertical creases. Most attractive. |
