c1870 ‘Colour Trials’ printed by Otto with a spur on the eagle’s left leg. Group of 14 stamps including two pairs printed in various colours and shades including ochre, blue, ultramarine and rose-carmine. Two are imperforate and the rest are fine roulette The majority are mint and two with target-type cancellers. A few faults. A scarce group.
