| 1910 £1 carmine-vermilion and (paler) blue-black, long gash headplate. Showing a curious area to the left of the King's forehead, apparently a wood chip fallen out. However, this happening prior to the frame being printed with lines of black printing running vertically through. Fine used cancelled '(SA)LISBURY 3 SEP 1912'.
