Forgery Fournier forgery of the 1896 2s.6d dull violet and green printed in near-issued colours. Imperforate block of eight (4x2) with large margins on three sides. The reverse with small ‘FAC-SIMILÉ’ applied in diagonal rows in blue by the L’Union Philatélique de Genève in 1928. Very fine and scarce in this format. SG 224 Forgery
