| Forgeries Fournier forgeries of the 1885 Vurtheim issue in close to issued colours. Comprising imperforate: 2d (block of eight), 2½d, 3d, 4d, 5/- and £5 (block of 16) and a perforated single provided with a ‘postmark’. All apart from the £5’s have gum and each stamp is handstamped ‘FAUX’ in black while the £5 block has ‘FAC-SIMILÉ’ applied in diagonal rows in blue on the reverse. All are affixed to a trimmed page to which they were affixed by the L’Union Philatélique de Genève in 1928. Page with tear, not affecting the stamps. A scarce group.
