NA458 NATAL / Anglo-Boer War 1901 (7th September), envelope addressed to Pretoria bearing a single QV ½d dull green (SG 97a) tied by a partial Pietermaritzburg (7 Sep) double circle datestamp and also tied by a triangular ‘PASSED PRESS CENSOR’ cachet struck in red. Pretoria (10 Sep) arrival backstamp. A very fine and scarce example of the unsealed open letter rate. £225
