AR426 Postage Dues 1990 (July) incoming airmail envelope sent from Louis Trichardt (10 July), South Africa. No postage was paid and the cover was taxed, receiving a bilingual cachet ‘REASON FOR SURCHARGE / POSTAGE INSUFFICIENT’ struck in purple. A pair of ‘25’ on 10c cerise surcharged postage dues (SG D33) was affixed and tied by a Union Avenue Harare (14 Aug) double circle datestamp. A few minor edge faults. Scarce commercial usage. SOLD

POSTAL HISTORY
ZW39 1980 5th May, printed cover for the 1st Annual Commissioners' Conference in Zimbabwe, bearing 3c definitive (SG 577), machine cancelled with special 'Boy Scouts ASSOCIATION ZIMBABWE' in red. This still indicated as 'RHODESIA' and so an unusual combination of both country names. £12
RU112 1981 RAPT Christmas seals, 'BUTTERFLIES' of Zimbabwe. Half sheet of 30, although the complete set for the series. £15
ZW35 c1982 postal stationery Registered Letter, blue on manila. Very fine unused. Uncommon. £10

RA9177 1985 April, printed invitation on the occasion of the Fifth Anniversary of Independence, hosted by the Government of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Sent to Mr. Justice Reynolds & Mrs Reynolds, at Rufaro Stadium. Unusual. £15
ZW141 1989 28th November, printed 'CAMBRIDGE EXAMINATION SCRIPTS ONLY' parcel label, cancelled 'SADZA' and with registration label endorsed as such. Addressed to the Examinations Branch, Causeway. Most unusual. £20
AR167 2002 (February), Postal Order for $2 with additional 3c and 5c adhesives affixed and pen cancelled. Issued at Hillside post office on the 4th February 2002 and apparently cashed at the same office on the 18th February 2002. The reverse endorsed “counterfoils seen & destroyed” and initialled. Uncommon. £40
