NY1418 1897 'ONE PENNY' surcharge in red on 3/- black and sea-green. Block of 15 being the right three vertical columns, plate '1' in upper margin. Centre right stamp showing major variety 'ONE' OMITTED, although an albino impression evident. All the remaining stamps bar the centre left stamp showing 'ONE' to some degree or another missing. Pencil endorsement in margin alongside. Full pink backing paper on reverse, fine mint. RPS certificate (1971). AN EXTRAORDINARY ITEM. SG 53 and vars.
 
Note: this block was last offered for sale in the Col. J. R. Danson collection in 1971. It has apparently remained in that same buyers collection ever since. It may well be UNIQUE as such.

NY1407 1924, set of six 'Oilette' hand drawn coloured post cards of various scenes in Nyasaland, produced by Tuck & Sons, specially for the the British Empire Exhibition in London. Together with the printed envelope containing the cards, and endorsed at top '6d'. The cards in pristine condition, and along with the original sale envelope, must be a remarkable survivor.
