AS472 BOOKLET 1926 London printing 2/6 black on salmon-pink booklet with wording in capital letters either side of Arms and with black stitching at left. Intact, containing 1d pane of six (with watermark inverted) and ˝d pair (with watermark upright). Also containing four interleaves with printed advertising. A rare and underrated booklet. SG SB5
 
Note: although SG and the UHB both list this booklet, neither illustrate it. The black stitching and country name in capital letters are definitive features, as are the contents. The ˝d and 1d being London printings perforated 14˝x14 (SG 30, 31) whereas SG SB6 has white stitching and contains Pretoria printings perforated 13˝x14 (SG 30e, 31e). There are two versions of this booklet, one with waxed interleaves and the one offered here with advertising interleaves.

AS481 BOOKLET 1927 Pretoria printing 2/6 black on pink booklet with wording in upper and lower case letters either side of Arms and with white stitching at left. Reconstruction comprising all 14 constituent parts including: front and back covers, ˝d panes of six (two, both with watermark upright), 1d panes of six (four, one with watermark upright and three with watermark inverted) and six advertising interleaves printed both sides. One 1d pane showing portion of the adjoining stamps at right tęte-bęche. The panes of both values display a variety of marginal markings including three with two jubilee lines in different colours (one 1d with additional ‘arrow’) and three with one jubilee line and horizontal bars. Most panes with hinge marks on one or more rows. A few small faults including one 1d with margin re-attached and another with small stain, otherwise fine. A rare booklet. SG SB6
 
Note: the combination of country name in upper and lower case letters and lack of advertising on the front cover are definitive features of SG SB6, as are the contents, this being the only booklet to include the ˝d and 1d Pretoria printings perforated 13˝x14 (SG 30e, 31e). There are two versions of this booklet, this one issued in 1927 with pink covers and one issued in 1928 with darker pink covers and with differences in the advertising interleaves.
