Although described as an essay by Peter Thy and John Inglefield-Watson in ‘The Postal Stationery of the Bechuanalands and Botswana’, an example has been recorded genuinely used at Tsessebe in April 1913, suggesting some of these cards were included in a delivery to the Protectorate.
